Hi! I have just got. Sb/100 Singer knitting machine and i am really struggling with it, I’ve only ever used the normal knitting machines at university and I’ve bought myself this one so i can continue at home. Was just wondering if anyone had any advice how to cast on or even how i get it going.

Welcome to machine knitting at home. You can download the manual for your machine at www.machineknittingetc.com. That should help you a lot. Were you able to get all the accessories that go with your machine? Does it need a good cleaning before using? There are also some wonderful groups on Facebook that are quite active. While I don’t have your exact machine, I do have several machines with my mid-gauge ones that I use the most. Feel free to reach out if you need more help. Dottie
