Been trying to knit the crocodile feet and the instructions for row 4 and 5 don’t make sense, once I have cast off 5 stitches, where do I start row 5 ??? Please help x

Bit I’m stuck on, row1 k, row2 k6 turn, row3 s1k, k to end, row4 cast off 5 sts at beginning of next row. row 5 k, row 6 cast on 5 stitches at beginning of next row and k the 6th st of row tbl. Would really appreciate this being put in lay mans terms. New to following patterns:muah:

Bear with me Melsie, I’m one of those who thinks in words. 
How many stitches is your cast on? I suspect it’s more than 6. I found a great close up of the foot on Ravelry, a free knitting site to try to figure out the foot construction.bIts the bottom picture on the page.
Anyway, think of the crocodile foot as a hand with 3 fingers. Your cast on goes from wrist to pinkie, then the full length of hand plus pinkie is knitted in a series of rows.(this is the first 4 rows of the pattern)
on the 5th you bind off the first 5 stitches(this forms the pinkie) but don’t turn, knit the rest of the stitches on the row (this is the hand), then turn, knit back across the hand until you run out of stitches,
then cast on 5 stitches to start the middle finger. Turn and knit across the cast on stitches and the hand stitches for however many rows the pattern says.
You’ll do this once more to have three fingers(toes) on your crocodile. HTH
And you can trace this out on your hand with your finger to see how the rows work…
