In the Mother/Daughter book, Sally says to knit into the back of the 2nd stitch on the left hand needle and then to knit into the first stitch on the left handed needle. I keep getting an unsightly bump on the left hand side of the cable (I’m knitting the left front of the sweater). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
This is a Left Twist or mini cable and there’s videos at youtube I think. If you put the 1st on a holder for a second, or just take if off the needle, knit into the 2nd st, then knit the first st that should work. You don’t have to knit the 2nd st tbl, just approach from the back of your knitting instead of in front.
