ok i knitted this bonnet from the book Last minute knitted gifts and i i haven’t put the i-cord on it yet… i want to put a ruffle around it instead… any suggestions…
Hereis something I found on the DIY network website. Not sure if it will be helpful enough or not. I know that the book ‘Knitting On The Edge’ by Nicky Epstein has loads of ruffly type edges you can knit.
This pattern also has instructions on how to make a garter stitch ruffle by picking up stitches along an edge. That would for sure be easier than making the ruffle and seaming it on later.
