Anyone know of I good replacement yarn for Rowan Big Wool? Something more expensive than Lion Thick and Quick but cheaper than the Rowan. Any ideas? I think the pattern calls for 15 and 17 needles.

Not sure about a sub, but I do know that WEBS has several closeout colors of Big Wool for $7.99 a ball.
The gauge for Big Wool seems to be 8 stitches to 4". I am getting the same gauge, and in fact the same gauge is listed, for Filatura di Crosa “Super Soft”, which is now on sale at Webs for $2.99 for a 50 gram ball.
