Row Gauge?

Is there some way I can change the row gauge without changing the stitch gauge? :??

I find I can get stitch gauge but not the row gauge.

Stitch gauge is the important one. You can always knit more rows/fewer rows, but you can’t make it wider or narrower.

I guess I will just adjust the number of rows then…
