My round two instruction statew to slip center st. knitwise tog with precedinh st., K1, pass slipped st. over. I am not sure what they mean.
Am I dealing with slipping the knitted and slipped over the last stitch knitted or am I slipping my center stitch over the preceeding stitch.
My knitting just doesn’t look right.
Round two instructionw
You put the slip stitch over the just knitted stitch; you’re doing a left-slanting decrease. Check out Amy’s video here if you want to see how the decrease works.
Personally, I prefer ssk to psso, but that’s just me!
:?? I’m still not a achieving the proper look. I have attached a picture of the finished area. As you can see, I have decreases on both sides of the center line. I have stitched the preceeding stitch, slipped the next stitch PSSO, knit 1, PSSO and other variations. Based on the round two instructions previously submitted, what should I really be doing with these stitches.
Ahh, if I’m understanding the problem correctly, you need to psso for the slant to the left, and knit two together (k2tog) for the slant to the right. Psso will work on both sides, of course, but the slants both go the same direction; you want them working towards each other to form a pretty V.
