Rosy Garden jacket set!!! HELP!!

hey guys so I have just finished making the baby blanket and now I am onto the little jacket from the set, its going okay however I have hit a confusing part of the pattern, I have 59 stitches on my needle just like I should be, and ive done some of the pattern work but now its asking for a st st and then dec as far as I can see. Can anyone interpret what I have to do?

The pattern is below:

Beg with a K row, cont in st st (stockinette st), dec 1 st at each end of next [3rd: next: 3rd] and 1 [2: 4: 5] foll 6th rows. 55 [61: 67: 73] sts

please let me know any help at all will be appreciated thank you!

I love this little set.

You’re making the smallest size. Call the next row, row 1 and decrease at each end of rows 1 and 7. That’ll be 2 sts decreased per decrease row so 4sts decreased.

row2: purl
row3:knit
row4:purl
row5:knit
row6:purl
row 7: knit

Yes, your next row should be a knit row:
row1: knit dec each end
row2: purl
row3:knit
row4:purl
row5:knit
row6:purl
row 7: knit dec each end
