I knitted an infinity scarf in the round and the edges are rolled/curled. I knit every row and I’m womdering if I should have knit and purled. Also, any suggestions on how to fix it.
Stockinette curls. It’s the nature of the stitch. Garter stitch is non curling so if you want to knit in the round you’d have to alternate knit a row and purl a row. If you knit flat then you knit every row. You could also do seed stitch.
I’m used to knitting flat and I didn’t realize that knitting every row in the round is the same thing as stockinette. Thanks!
If you have more yarn and want to you could pick up and knit on the outside edges using seed stitch, garter stitch, or rib. The stockinette will still curl but you might like it better.
