Rogue hoodie

I made this using Nashua creative focus superwash. This is pre blocking. I am very happy with how it turned out. This is the first sweater I have made that required seaming, although I did the sleeves in the round even though they were to be knit flat. This is also my first project with cables. My tension is a bit wacky on them but maybe after a few washings they will straighten up a little.

I think your cables look great! :cheering:

It looks terrific! :notworthy:

Looks very nice!!

Your sweater in gorgrous and your canles look good to me. :blooby:

I love it! Where’d you get the pattern? I think I want to make one!

Please let me try again.

Your sweater is gorgeous and your cables look good also. :blooby:

That looks really great, I too am curious about the pattern.

Amazing!!!

that looks fabulous! great job!!! I just LOVE that pattern. one day I’ll be brave enough…

Ok well I found the pattern here http://www.girlfromauntie.com/patterns/shop/rogue/detail.php, but it has a narrow range of sizes. It does offer a few tips for resizing, but no definite instructions. So my next question is, “Does anybody want to modify this pattern to fit bigger people?” I am not skilled enough to do that yet, so are there any volunteers? Maybe cast on more stitches, add some short row bust shaping?

I am not skilled enough yet to rewrite patterns, so do we have any volunteers to rewrite the pattern for larger sizes? Maybe more cast on stitches, add some short row bust shaping? I really want to knit this sweater, but am unsure about trying to do the size modifications myself.

I love it!! It looks fabulous!

Looks great! :cheering:

It looks fabulous and it fits you perfectly! Someday I’m going to attempt that pattern…it’s on my to do list that is about a mile long, now.

Thank you everyone for all the compliments. This was one of the harder patterns I have done, but the instructions are very well written and she explains things.

That is beautiful! Sometimes, when others post their finished objects, I think, “How pretty! What nice knitting! I would never wear that!”

But your sweater! It’s beautiful! I would absolutely wear that! I love the color choice too!

That’s gorgeous - I wonder if I have enough yarn in my stash to make that :??
