Ripping back cables

Can anyone tell me the best way to rip back cable stitches while on the same row. There are very confusing videos dealing with cables that are finished. I just want an easy way to rip back one row without losing the stitches. Sort of a beginner with cables.

If you need to re–do the cable, you can kind of rip it out in reverse. You can put the first cable sts that you come to on the right hand needle onto a cable needle, take out the next set of cable sts onto the left needle and finally, place the held cable sts back on the left hand needle.
If you aren’t correcting a cable problem but a problem somewhere else in the row, you can remove the working yarn (tinking) and move the twisted cable sts onto the left needle. When you come to re-knit them, they’ll be ready to knit across, already twisted for you.
