I’m knitting a collar to a cardigan. I’ve picked up the stitches and knitted several rows. Does the right side of the collar refer to the side that is knit on the right side of the sweater or the right side that will show when worn which is knit on the wrong side of the sweater? I’m confused!

Right side/Wrong side of collar
Probably the RS of the collar when it’s worn.
In my experience, the right side of the collar is the public side. The seam for the collar should be under the collar when it’s folded down for wear–technically on the right side of the sweater.
