Ribbing?

Hi,

When a pattern says’ to knit till (size); do you take the measurement from the ribbing or from the 1st rw after the ribbing?

Unless the pattern says otherwise it usually means to measure from the cast on row which would be the beginning. :slight_smile:

Looks like you might be making a hat? From what you’ve written I’d say it means to do the ribbing and then continue with stockinette stitch till you have a certain measurement (whatever it tells you).
