Ribbing using circular needles

Hello,

I feel rather silly asking, but I just can not get this in my brain.

I want to rib the bottom of my sweater, using circular needles, I am following Zimmermans basic sweater pattern (Knitting Without Tears). I am having a very troublesome time trying to completely understand her directions.

Can you help?

Do you mean you want to add ribbing to a sweater body that’s done?

What specifically are you having trouble understanding?

Yes. I have knitted up the “hem” of my sweater & want to add ribbing. I am using circular needles & am confused, do I K2 P2 all around & all around until I have the length I need? I know with straight needles I K2 P2 then reverse it.

I am following direction from “Knitting Without Tears”.

Ribbing in the round is k2p2 all the way around, no reversing necessary.
