Finally finished my tank for the cruise. I love it except I wish I had made it longer. It is Cascade Pima Silk in periwinkle and the pattern is a Vermont Fiber Design pattern. I love their patterns because you can get them in plus sizes. The only thing is I never did figure out why my openwork didn’t go back and forth left then right then left then right. The “hole” went in a straight line. My dh and I figured it had to be that I am left handed and knit left handed and the way I wrap my yarn. It is the only thing that made sense. It still looks ok though. Oh and the paper loops you see behind the sweater are for the cruise. We are old folks playing at being kids so we make a paper chain when we book the cruise. One loop for each week then take a loop off until it is time to cruise. lol
Beautiful! Love the color.
Nonny, your top is gorgeous, great colour too. Enjoy your countdown.
You are surely “Best Dressed” on all your cruises. Beautiful top and the Pima Silk is perfect.
My opinion has always been just because you are a large woman doesn’t give you the right to dress like some dumpy frumpy slob. I believe if more large women would take pride in themselves instead of being ashamed or embarrassed the world would look at them differently. I never leave home without my hair done, makeup on and decent clothing that fits my body and is age appropriate. You don’t have to have a lot of money to dress ok either. I am very large and have bought several things from Target and Walmart.
Love how your tank turned out!!! Lovely choice of color too!!! Have fun on your cruise!:waving:
