This is the Rib Warmer originally designed by Elizabeth Zimmerman. I knit the version that has been updated by Meg Swansen. It is knit all in one piece and very cleverly at that. The original had a center back seam and this does not.
This was an easy garter stitch project. I think a fairly new knitter could do it as long as they were willing to try a few new and simple techniques. I used the Rib Warmer DVD for instructions and in spots that was very helpful as the printed instructions were a bit vague at times.
