Maybe a silly Question. If a pattern says 5rows of 2x2 Rib, is that actually 5 rows or 10?
Rib Question
I think it is 5 rows. And each row is 2X2 rib, k2p2 I assume.

I would think it’s 5 rows worked each RS and WS (i.e., (RS, WS) x 5 = 10 rows total). Otherwise, you’d be ending on a RS row, which isn’t the norm. So unless the directions following the ribbing indicate you’re to work WS…
What is the name of your pattern?
Whatever the stitch pattern is for the rib, 5 rows is going to be 5 rows.
Sometimes pattern have you start on a WS row, sometimes there is a following row with increases or decreases in pattern.
5 rows, knit 2 then purl 2 all the way across (and knit the knits, purl the purls on alternate rows).
Thanks very much everyone

Yes, so the 6th row I suppose is an increase
Do you want to quote just the 6th row here or are you ok with it?
