Reverse Shaping!

Ok Ive read up on reverse shaping and Im still getting confused. One thing I read said to do the shaping on the opposite side. (ws instead of rs) Another said to do the shaping at the opposite end (shaping at the end of the row as opposed to the beginning of the row). Another said to rewrite the directions backwards??? Or am I supposed to do all of the above? Any clarification that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

It really depends on what you’re doing. If you’re binding off at the edge, then you have to do it at the beginning of the row, so you would do that on the ws.

For decreasing one stitch, then you can either do it on the wrong side and follow the directions for beginning and end of the rows, or you can do it on the right side and follow the directions with regard to neck edge and arm edge.
