Reverse shaping

hi all,
i read some earlier posts on reverse shaping- but i am still confused. my pattern says

Row 1 (WS) Purl. Row 2 K 1, M1, knit to end.

how do i reverse this? do i change it like this?

(ws)purl

(rs) knit to one stich from end, KI, MI

help please- thanks in advance

You would do the M1 before the k1 at the end of the row. For the reverse shaping.

Mainly keep track of what you did on the arm edge and neck edge of the first piece and do the same increases on the same edges on the other piece.
