My pattern reads:
Rows 1-4: K1, * P1, K1 rep from * across.
Rows 5 & 7: Knit
Rows 6 & 8: Purl
Then when I reach the middle of the back it tells me to reverse pattern.
Does that mean:
Rows 1 & 3: Knit
Rows 2 & 4: Purl
Rows 5 -8: K1, P1 K1 rep from * across.
Just want to be sure I am doing this right. Thanks
How is that reversing the original which is “K1, * P1, K1 rep from * across”? I think starting with the purl stitch is right as in “P1, *K1, P1 rep from * across”
pay no mind to the ‘-’ in the middle, it is only a stitch marker.

P.S. I realized I had it upside down… now it is right side up. I think.
:eyebrow2: I can picture why they would want a reverse pattern on the top half of the back vs the bottom half.
Oh, it would be eight rows of st st making a band across the middle of the back (height wise). I can see that now. Just a bit slow with the visual today.
