You can just reverse which side you do the decreases.
So instead of working the k1, ssk for the neck edge decrease, you’ll work that on the ws with a p1, p2tog, p to end.
When you do the armhole bind off, you have to do that at the beginning of the row, so the right side will be facing for the decreases that you did on the wrong side for the other half of the sweater.
For the rest of the decreases, you’ll work them with the rs facing at the armhole edge.
You could also do it at the other end of the row. So for “[U]Front V Neck Shaping[/U]; k1, ssk, knit to end of row.” you can knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1.
A BO can’t be done at the end of a row though, you would have to do that at the beg of the next row.
