I am just learning to knit and am starting with a babay afghan. What does it mean in the instructions when I “knit two together by reversing the first stitch on left needle, then knitting together two stitches through back loops”. I get the last part, but not the reversing the first stitch on left needle… Thanks.
I think they want you to change the mount of the stitch so that the leading leg (the one you usually knit into) is the back leg instead of the front leg. All you need to do is slip one knitwise from left to right needle, and then place the loop back on the left needle. You’re basically just turning the stitch around.
