Does anyone have a knitting book to recommend with retro patterns?
Really, I guess anything fashionable from the 20s-60s would do

The web is a great source for these old patterns. I especially like http://www.freevintageknitting.com/
Happy hunting!
That’s a great site!
The queen of all retro knitting patterns is www.ivarose.com. She collects the original books, tidies them up, and then reprints them for you with a spiral binding. Hundreds, from the late 1800s through the 1940s. She does a great job, she’s fast, her customer service is great, and they’re not too expensive-- from about $8 - $25. She also has photos of all the project pages in the book, so you can really see what you’re getting and choose wisely. You click on a book, and then scroll down and there are the original drawings and photos, and she notes whether each design is knit or crochet. Can’t say enough good about it.
Wow, thanks for that site. Great ideas there!
Thanks guys! Found a cardigan pattern and I will probably be making that one after I finish the one I’m working on
OMG it’s so retro T_T having a “things I adore” overload
I’m also an ivarose fan. It’s so great to be able to get those old books, exactly as they were when they were first released!
