I have a lot of trouble knitting with dpn can I substitute circular needles in any pattern calling for dpn? Do I need to make any adjustments to the pattern? Thanks:help:

Yes, the needles are just a tool, you can usually just switch which tool. You may have to use magic loop or single loop if the item is too small to fit around a longer circ. Or even use 2 circulars as if they were long flexible dpns. Videos for all that are on the Advanced Techniques page, and here’s one for single loop.
Magic loop is wonderful and I love it for everything but socks, IMHO. They have several videos here and on YouTube to demonstrate how to do this.
