Reduce holes when knitting bobbles

I’m knitting a baby blanket for my first expected grandchild and the pattern has cables and bobbles.I can’t seem to eliminate a hole which appears behind the bobble which is albeit mostly covered by the bobble but I think it looks sloppy.Has anyone got tips on how to reduce the hole?Heres a photo with my finger presenting the problem.

Congratulations on your expected grandchild! Wonderful news.
The hole is probably due to stretching the stitch that is knit into several time to form the bobble. It looks very good to me and the blanket will be lovely. That hole may close up a bit with washing but really looks fine as is.

Thanks very much.Yes,we’re very excited about this baby.
I’ll carefully wet block the finished blanket and perhaps that’ll help too.
