I am planning on making this shawl: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sourwood-shawl
However, I had a look at the pattern, and I am not understanding the instructions for the lower edge, as it seems to contradict the general instructions? It has you placing markers, but then the first row you are to repeat doesn’t reference it, so I am unsure if you are supposed to w&t 2 stitches short of the marker that got placed, or all but 2 stitches on the needle?
On the one hand, everywhere else that has the short rows, you work all the way to the marker, so if it is meant to be 2 short of the marker before the w&t, that is moving the marker 3 stitches at a time, instead of the 1 it moves of the rest of the thing, which even for the few rows in the bottom edge feels like it shouldn’t be the case? On the other hand, why are you placing a marker at all if you are to be just going across the whole row on the RS anyway?
