Increase row: K2, *yo, knit to end.
Repeat increase row to 62 sts Work 1 row as: K1, k2tog, yo, knit to end.
Decrease row: K1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, knit to end.
Repeat decrease row until 5 sts remain.
Last decrease row: K1, k2tog, k2. Knit 1 row even.

[LEFT]MY question is at the top the *before the yarn over, do i yo for all 82 stitches or do i start from the beginning at knit2?

Hi… no…you K2 and thereafter only do what is after the * on that row

On that row it’s straightforward in that you K2, yo and then K for rest of row. On other patterns the instructions between the ** may be more complex.

I should clarify perhaps. On that row it is K2, (one) yo and then knit for the remainder of the row.
