Please tell me how to read the knitting chart…and the loop chart. New project and I’ve never read a chart before. :??
What type of chart are you trying to read? Is this a graph paper type chart with symbols for the type of stitch to do?
Are you looking for info specific to one chart or reading charts in general?

the chart shows which stitch to do for which stitch…and now I know to read from the bottom right to the left, and on row 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc., it’s left to right upward…thank you ladies! I do not know about looping charts but maybe this is the same. I don’t need to know that today. I don’t think.
What do you mean by `looping charts’? Those for a loop stitch, or for patterns knit in the round?
