Re: Clogs and materials

Can someone please give me a quick run-down of what materials are required for the clogs? I’m eagerly anticipating my pattern in the mail, but I want to go get my supplies tonight. I’m so very excited

For the adult pattern, 24" US13 circs (16" US13s for the kids’ pattern). The adult pattern requires roughly 600 yards of feltable worsted weight wool, depending on what size you’re making (200 for upper, 400 for cuffs and soles). I’d be glad to give you the exact yardage if you tell me what size you’re making.

You also need one stitch marker and an extra circ (any size smaller than US13).

Worsted weight wool that felts easily. Clogs are knit with a double strand throughout.

Approximately 550 (600, 650 / 750, 850) yards per pair. 2 color slippers will require approximately 1/3 of this yardage in upper color and 2/3 in sole/cuff color. this yardage allows for yarn to be held double throughout.

Sizes women’s 6, (8, 10) and men’s (11, 13)

Have fun with your yarn buying!
