I am making the cardigan in the link below in charcoal grey. I don’t quite have enough wool so will be introducing a blue stripe across the front. However, the front edges of the cardigan have a rib band, stretching over the first/last 6 stitches of the row. When I introduce the new colour on the knit row, the three purl stitches of the rib edging shows a line of the new colour midst the grey and I don’t know how to work around this… https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/702637530/knitting-pattern-button-knit-up-cardigan?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=button+(kn)it+up&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&organic_search_click=1
You can avoid these dots of the previous yarn color by knitting across the ribbing in the new color. Then proceed with the rib. The knit sts will get lost in the continued rib and won’t be noticeable.
