Ravelry-project organization

I thought I’d share this for Rav users. I discovered today after looking at Artlady’s projects that you can organize your projects and your queue!! You click the organize tab and then create sets! I wish I could do it with my favorites, but that’s not available at least for now.

I started today…Here’s a screenshot of my tabs now on my project page.

i did not know that! guess what i am going to go do now!!

I don’t have very many projects on Ravelry as I just joined a month or so ago but I love the ability to organize! I very much like to organize my projects. Right now, I have all my downloaded patterns in an Excel spreadsheet including the source, designer, needles/hooks needed, and yarn/quantity. I had more patterns than I thought!

I’ve just discovered you can now add purchase date and price to your stash, which I think would be useful for other people looking to see how much things cost, or if a certain dyelot is likely to be still available

I saw the organize tab today but was disappointed that I couldn’t sort the order of the projects.

Let me see, I could put my two projects on two tabs and call one “All” and the other “Nothing.”

:roflhard:

You can sort by using the drop down box, but with two projects you’re probably good. :teehee: You can also organize your queue which is usually much longer than your projects.

Thanks for the chuckle Jack! I like the idea of organizing my projects, thanks for the information.

I wonder if some people wouldn’t be a bit sickened by that feature. If they actually saw how much money they’ve spent on their stash printed out all at once…
