Rasta hats ! help finding patterns (NOT TAM)

Hi, i want my mom to make some of this hats

:shrug: no no… i couldn’t find a better pic, but i did see that episode. it hangs low in the back. much larger/lower than a tam. oh well. good luck

trogster… I can understand why jeanius80 offered that pattern because I’ve seen as many rasta hats without the peak at the front than without.
These two images show the sort I am used to (the second is called a rasta tam). The ‘rasta’ comes from the striped colours and the fullness. Someone here recently offered a link of how to convert crochet to knitting so the design you prefer could readily be made. The bottom link is that conversion one:
