I have a pattern for a raglan sweater and I like the pattern except for the holes that run down the sleeve section. Does anyone have another way to increase the stitches on each side of the sleeve rather than yarn overs?

Does your pattern call for a yarn over increase? You might try the kfb instead.
I like the increases that Eunny Jang uses in this video. They minimize holes and the second is all but invisible.
Besides, it’s just fun to watch her knit.
