I’m knitting a dressing gown which calls for a raglan sleeve to be knitted from the cuff to the shoulder. The pattern is asking to make an increase, whilst working in stst, on the 3rd (which would be a k row) and every following 3rd row. I’m probably reading the pattern all wrong, as this to me sounds like I need to make increases on purl rows? As the third row following the knit row would be a purl row? Can anyone suggest if I’m reading this correctly, and if so, how to work an increase on a purl row? TIA
Yes, some of the increases will be on purl rows. If you’re using a kfb (knit front and back), you could use a purl front and back on these purl rows.
Thank you for your reply another skill to master then!
