Raglan Increase - Petite Knits Cumulus Pattern

Hello friends,

I’m very confused by the raglan increase directions in the popular Petite Knits Cumulus Pattern. Hoping some more experienced knitters can help. Issue is in understanding where to increase, ie before or after the stitch titled “raglan Increase”.

Also unclear if the markers mentioned are counted from the very start of the row, or from one marker to the next. Have asked the designer but no really yet.

Thanks v much for your help!

Welcome to KH!

Maybe this one?
You’re probably going to increase before the raglan stitch and after the raglan stitch. There are 4 raglan stitches so that’s 8 increases per round. There may be some parts of the pattern where you only make 4 raglan increases but the pattern will tell you where and when if that’s needed.

One stitch (left front), marker, 1 raglan stitch, marker, 6sts small sleeve, marker, 1 raglan stitch, marker, 26 small back sts, marker, 1 raglan, marker 6sts small sleeve, marker, 1 raglan stitch, marker, 1 stitch (right front).

Stitches are counted from one marker to the next.
