Raglan Decrease on Sleeve

Hi,

Hi,

I need some help with decreasing on raglan sleeve. I’m finishing a WIP from over 5 years ago and can’t remember what I done for the other sleeve.

The pattern says:

RS: K3, sl 1, K1, PSSO, K to last 5 sts, K2TOG, K3
WS: K3, P to last 5 sts, K3

Working all decreases as set by above and now working raglan edge 3 sts in g st throughout, cont as follows:

dec 1 st at each end of 3rd and 0 full 4th rows, then on every foll alt row.

Am I just decreasing on the RS following the pattern until I have 28st or am I putting in an extra decrease after the 3rd row then following the set 2 rows?

TIA.

Good for you for finishing the WIP! It’ll be so satisfying to see it completed.
Skip over any direction that has a 0 for your size and go directly to the next direction. Decrease at each end of row 3 and then rows 5,7,9,11 and so on.

Fab Thanks.

So my understanding from what you’ve said is that now I’ve set the raglan from the 2 rows mentioned, I miss the first dec on row 1, then essentially start it from row 3 until I have 28st left.

I can’t wait to see it finished. The person who I’m finishing it for is different than the person I started it for.

Once this sleeve is done, I’ll just have the front to do.

Yes, row 3 then decrease at each end every other row. You’re almost there with just the front to go.
