Raglan cardigan

hi everyone could anyone out there help me please.
iv started knitting my son a raglan cardigan in a size 20 iv got to the shape front slope on the left front and im stuck.
it says … … working all raglan armhole decreases as set by back, dec 1 st at raglan armhole edge of next 3 rows then on 0 foll 4th row then on foll 14 alt rowsand at same time dec 1 st at front slope edge of next and foll 2 alt rows then on 6 foll4th rows. which should leave me 2 stitches.

Here ‘as set’ would mean, ‘the same way’ you did decs on the back. Then it tells you the spacing - dec 1 at the raglan edge on the next 3 rows, then every other row 14 times, skip where it says 0. While you’re doing that, on the front edge dec 1 on the next row and then every other row twice, then every 4th row 6 times and at that point you’ll have 2 sts. So you dec at different rates on the raglan edge than you do for the front edge.

Thread was in the wrong forum. I moved it to How-to so it’ll be seen easier.

I find it easiest to write out these rows and mark them off as I knit them. If you call the next row, row 1 it works out to:
row 1 dec armhole…dec front
row 2 dec armhole
row 3 dec armhole…dec front
row 5 dec armhole…dec front
row 7 dec armhole
row 9 dec armhole…dec front
row 11 dec armhole
row 13 dec armhole…dec front
row 15 dec armhole
row 17 dec armhole…dec front
row 19 dec armhole
row 21 dec armhole…dec front
row 23 dec armhole
row 25 dec armhole…dec front
row 27 dec armhole
row 29 dec armhole…dec front
row 31 dec armhole
