Quick question related to k2tog and psso

I was working on a hat this weekend and got a bit confused. The pattern instructions read as follows:

Knit up till 3 sts before your marker. (understood that part).
I am then instructed to K2tog. (Okay no problem Done).
(The next step is where I get confused…)
I am instructed to PsSO. Now either I do not understand this or my math is really off. How in the world could I possibly K2 tog and PsSO with only 3 sts to work with? Am I crazy or after the k2tog wouldn’t that leave me with just one stitch?

Thanks in advance,

BigBearJeff

PS. Be sure to look for my Michigan travel story. I guess I need to start a blog. Not sure how one would do this, but I will have to learn.

psso stands for pass slipped stitch over, so where is the slipped stitch?

I’ve done sl1, k2tog, psso.

It might be that the pattern wants you to go down to one stitch.

well since it is telling you to go down to the last three stitches i bet you were suppose to slip the first one of those three and then pass it over the K2tog. (that would be a double decrease wouldn’t it?)
