When the pattern says, “C4B”—does that mean you put 2 stitches on the cable needle, knit two stitches, then knit the 2 on the cable needle? I am trying this out for the first time----so any help will be great! Thanks!
Yes. But you missed where to put the cable needle.
C = cable or cross
4 = 4 total stitches, 2+2
B = Back, hold the cable needle to the back of the work.
C4F would hold the cable needle to the front of the work.
