Yeah, I do the same thing – ooh, I need to remember that click – but it does work for me! It’s all in the perception, right? Don’t think of your queue as your “I’m going to make THIS” list, but as you “My idea file!”. Well, AND your “I’m going to make THIS” list, if you want.
The only problem I see with favoriting things instead of queuing things is that a lot of people feel really quite downcast if people un-favorite their projects. I can delete things from my queue quite easily without making anyone feel badly about themselves or their knitting, so that’s why i don’t favorite things that I just want to consider making - no, it’s not my problem if they connect their self-worth with their knitting or Rav account, but I figure I have enough problems dealing with the karma of making people feel bad through interaction with me without adding that onto it!
