I am ready to cast on for this sweater
It´s to be knit on circulars, but has a rib pattern that indicates “row 1” and “row 2”. Do I just disregard the row 2 instructions and continue along in the row 1?
Also, for the body, it says to place a marker between 2 K sts on each side - that´s so that the increases are done in the same spot, right?

Yes, that’s what it looks like, going by the picture. It may have been converted from a flat pattern, and they didn’t change the rib stitch.

It looks to me like you divide the front and back at some point- so the markers would tell you where to divide, and the ‘row 1 row 2’ thing would apply to the parts where you’re knitting the front flat and back flat after they are divided.
