Hello. I am working on a pattern and I am using German short rows instead of W&T. I know that you are supposed to do add an additional stitch beyond what is listed in the pattern. I did that in the first and second short row. If I am on my third row and the pattern says to knit to and pick up the wrapped stitch and then knit 2, do I pick up the double stitch and knit 3 before turning? Thanks!
When you are working longer short rows, add one stitch after the double stitch to whatever the w&t pattern calls for. The same goes for every succeeding row. So pick up the double stitch and k3 past that ds before the next turn.
