Question on how to read a pattern

Can anyone tell me what Row 5 below is tell me to do? Pattern reads:

Row 4: knit to wrapped st, close wrapped stitch, k4.
Row 5: cont patt as est until row 12 of chart is completed, ast work sr on every 2nd ws row.

what does “as est” and “ast work sr” mean?

I’m lost. Thanks!

‘as est’ means as established - the pattern you’vebeen doing from row 1 to 12 of your chart, I think. ‘ast work sr’ means at same time work sr- no idea what ‘sr’ is though. HTH

“as est” means “as established,” meaning continue knitting in the pattern you’ve been knitting.

I have no clue on the rest of it.

Thanks to both of you for the quick reply! It’s appreciated.

The sr would be short row(s).
