Question about yarn usage

I am making this Noro Kureyon sweater - the original pattern called for 12 skeins of Noro. I was making the pattern a good 6 inches shorter than the original…and bought 10 skeins upon LYS suggestion.

So, I am up to the armpits front and back, and my sleeves are 2/3 done. I have approximately 3 skeins left, and this is a turtleneck! I am thinking I am definitely going to need more - don’t you think?

It will be close, but you might be ok. I’m assuming that you’ll be getting smaller from this point on? I think I’d wait until I was down to one skein to make a final commitment. Actually, that’s my advice to YOU. I’d probably run out and buy more and have too much left over.

But if you had left overs you could use the extra to make a matching head-band / ear warmer thingy majig.

If I had leftovers, it probably wouldnt be end of the world, as I could use it for some booga variation. I am going to wait and see. LYS is out of the colorpath I am using, however yarnbow on ebay has it for a fairly reasonable price with quick delivery. I AM going to check my stash - and make sure I don’t have another skein or so stashed away.

My NEXT sweater is so not going to be done on size 7 needles!
