Question about knitting a Huggy Bear Cape

Hi,

I am in the process of knitting a Huggy Bear Cape but had a question.

  • In the instructions it says “Divide for neck: Beg working in rows: 1st row: K30. K2tog. Turn. 31 sts” what does Divide for neck mean? Does it mean that you need to divided the remaining stiches in half and then knit?

The pattern can be found at:

Thanks,
Maryam

Thanks for the pattern link. It means that you’ll start working in rows with the end of row at the neck opeining. The directions are tellng you the number of sts to knit, so just follow the instructions. You don’t have to do any other dividing, just work to the end of the row as directed. Adorable pattern, btw.
