question about circular lengths

I’m confused! I finally broke down and bought a set of Denise circular needles. I also have a few others. I’m about to start a project and I need an answer to this question that’s bugging me. When you say 16" circulars, is that a measurement for the whole thing, including the needles on the ends or is it the cable part only?

Should be including needles, at least that’s what Options are.

Hi Pauline, circular needles are measured tip to tip. So 16 inches includes the cable and the two needles.

With my Denise needles the tip to tip measurement was about 17" which is a little long, but you can try it. They may have changed since I got mine and I no longer use them so don’t have them handy.
