Question about a pattern

Instructions:
(Note: Twist all knit stitches, which means knit through the back of the loop.)
Using size #11 needles, CO 58st.
Row 1: Sl1 (YO, K2tog) (K2tog, YO) P1 to last two st. K2.
Row 2: Purl all.

I dunno, but I think it’s only the knit sts, not the dec knit sts. Have you tried it both ways?

it gets pretty wonky when you try to K2tog thru the back loops.
