I’m just starting this sweater https://www.yarnspirations.com/patons-bold-diamonds/PAK0129-006629M.html. On the FRONT, I understand that I would knit the row before the fold line, and then knit the next row for the fold line. My question is, immediately after knitting the fold line, it says work 2 rows in stocking stitch. Does stocking stitch always start with a K row, or would I start my stocking stitch with a P row considering the fact that I had just finished the K fold line? Or does the fold line kind of start everything all over again, like a reboot, so I’d begin with a K stitch? Thank you!
Knit the row immediately after the fold and then purl the next row. Then you’ll be ready to begin the chart with a RS row.
That sweater looks like it’s going to be fun to knit.
