Query on a pattern instruction.

Hi,

I was unable to follow the following instruction in a pattern booklet. It says, “
”* With right hand needle pick up the next st of 5th row below and place on left hand needle, P the picked up st and next st on needle together, repeat from * across row."

I have no clue what I should be doing. I am stuck :frowning:

Pls help.

What are you making?
It sounds like a tuck or possibly a hem.
Here’s a video that may help. I like to pick up all the sts from the row below on another needle first. It can be a smaller size needle. That way, I know that I have the correct number of sts and that I haven’t missed any.
