Q Re: yf then k6

Hi, I have a question regarding how to yarn forward then knit after the yarn forward. Here are the instructions for the first row of knitting that I am trying todo. It is on a caston of 36 stitches and will eventually be a bootie.

The pattern is at

http://www.yarnfwd.com/babybonnet.html

1st row:K2 K6, yf, sl 1, K2tog, psso, yf, K6, P2, rep from * to *, K2.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to yf then knit after I yf.

Any help is most appreciated.

A yf is like a yo… When you bring the yarn forward and knit the next stitch, it makes a yo. Same when you slip the next st.

Thank you for your reply. So basically I just follow the yarn over video and I should be good to go?

Yep, that’s right…
